Play Ludo MMA Studios
Privacy Policy for Play Ludo
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Maullick Gupta, trading as MMA Studios (“we”, “us”), operates the mobile game Play Ludo (the “Game”). This policy explains what the Game collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
1. The short version
- You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, your progress is linked to your Google Play Games player ID so it follows you to a new phone (§3.8).
- You choose a nickname. It is the only text you type that we store, and other players in your match can see it — so do not use your real name if you would rather they did not know it.
- We collect what happens in the game (matches played, duels won, coins earned), crash reports, and device identifiers and an approximate location, to fix bugs and understand what people play.
- We do not sell your data, and there is no advertising in the Game today.
- The Game is not directed at children under 18.

3. What we collect
3.1 An anonymous player identity
When you first open the Game we create an anonymous account through Unity Gaming Services. It is a random identifier. It is not linked to your email, your phone number or any social account (unless you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, §3.8), and we cannot use it to find out who you are.
3.2 Your nickname and game profile
Stored so your progress can be kept and restored: your nickname, chosen avatar and frame, level and XP, lifetime statistics, per-mini-game records, coin balance and ledger, daily-mission and login-streak state, and the dates your profile was created and last synced.
Your nickname is shown to other players in any online match you join.
3.3 What you do in the Game
We record in-game actions — starting and finishing matches, duel outcomes, level-ups, coins earned and spent, daily missions and logins, which screens you open, and whether a quick match found an opponent. These are game events, not content: we do not record chat (there is none — the Game has canned emotes only), and we do not record your room codes or your nickname text in them.
3.4 Crash and performance data
When the Game crashes we receive a crash report through Firebase Crashlytics: what went wrong, your device model, operating-system version, the app version, and a random installation identifier.
3.5 Gameplay network traffic
Online matches are relayed through Unity Relay. Dice rolls, moves and duel inputs pass through it so your opponents can see them. It is transport, and we do not store the contents of a match.
3.6 Settings that never leave your phone
Audio volumes, haptics strength, text size, your last-opened tab, board and pawn choices and similar preferences are saved on your device only and are never transmitted to us.
3.7 Device identifiers and approximate location
Google Analytics for Firebase, which we use to understand how the Game is played, gives each install a random app-instance ID and reads your phone’s Android advertising ID. We use them only for analytics: the Game shows no ads today. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your phone’s settings (usually Settings, then Google, then Ads).
Google Analytics and Unity’s matchmaking and relay services also work out an approximate location, roughly your city or region, from your internet (IP) address. We never collect your precise location.
3.8 If you sign in with Google Play Games (optional)
Signing in is your choice; the Game works fully without it. If you sign in, Google Play Games tells us your Google Play Games player ID and your Play Games display name. Unity Authentication stores the player ID as a link to your game account, so your profile can be restored when you sign in on another phone or after reinstalling. The display name is only shown back to you on screen (“signed in as …”); we do not store it. We do not receive your email address, your contacts or anything else from your Google account.
3.9 What we do NOT collect
No precise location. No contacts. No photos, files or microphone. No payment or financial information (nothing in the Game is sold for real money). No advertising SDK: the Game shows no ads today.
4. Why we collect it
| Purpose | Data used |
|---|---|
| Running a match and showing your progress | anonymous identity, profile, gameplay traffic, approximate location (to connect you through a nearby server) |
| Keeping a copy of your progress off your phone | profile (stored with Unity Cloud Save) |
| Restoring your progress on a new phone, if you sign in | Google Play Games player ID, linked to your game account |
| Fixing crashes and bugs | crash and performance data |
| Understanding which modes people play, so we build the right things | in-game events, device identifiers, approximate location |
We do not use any of it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
5. Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the Game work:
| Provider | What they process | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics) | in-game events, crash reports, the advertising ID and app-instance ID, approximate location from your IP address | https:// |
| Google (Play Games Services), only if you sign in | your sign-in, your Google Play Games player ID and display name | https:// |
| Unity (Authentication, Cloud Save, Relay, Lobby) | anonymous identity, the link to your Google Play Games player ID if you sign in, profile, match traffic, approximate location from your IP address | https:// |
Other players in your match see your nickname, avatar, frame and level. That is the Game working as intended, not a disclosure to a third party.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
6. Where your data goes
Firebase, Google Play Games and Unity operate globally and may process data outside your country, including in India and the United States, under their own safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
- Profile data: until you delete it (§8, Deleting your data), or until it has not been used for 3 years, whichever comes first.
- Analytics events: up to 14 months, the longest standard Google Analytics setting.
- Crash reports: per Crashlytics’ own retention, currently 90 days.
8. Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your player profile by following the steps at https://
We find your profile using the player identifier the Game shows you in PROFILE or SETTINGS. If you signed in with Google Play Games, you can sign in again on any phone to see that identifier. Deleting removes your game account (and its link to your Google Play Games player ID) and your profile, progress, coin balance and nickname permanently. It cannot be undone, and there is no way to recover it afterwards.
9. Your choices
- Nickname — change it in your profile (the first change is free; later changes cost coins).
- Everything — uninstalling the Game stops all collection. It does not delete your stored profile; to delete that, follow the steps in §8, Deleting your data.
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or erase it. Write to the Grievance Officer named in §2, Who we are.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: we process your data because it is needed to provide the Game you asked to play (your game account, profile, sign-in and matches), and for our legitimate interest in keeping the Game stable and understanding how it is played (crash reports and analytics). You have the right to access, correct, erase or export your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Write to maullickgupta@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.
10. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, write to maullickgupta@gmail.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post changes here and update “Last updated”. Material changes will be announced in the Game.
